May 24 - Oct. 4 Madeline Island Historical Museum La Pointe, WI (accessible by ferry from Bayfield, WI) An exhibit of Dave's paintings for his children's book, The Voyageur's Paddle, will be on display at the museum throughout the season.
August 8-Aug. 10 Grand Portage National Monument Rendezvous Days Grand Portage, MN Dave will appear in early 19th century costume, and do painting demonstrations throughout the weekend.
Aug. 19 12:15-1:00 Wisconsin Historical Museum 30 N. Carroll St. Madison Wisconsin Dave and Pat will appear as George and Clara Catlin for a “History Sandwiched In” program. George Catlin was one of the early painters of American Indians.
Sept. 6 Celebration of Minnesota's Children's Authors and Illustrators Anderson Center 163 Tower View Drive Red Wing, MN Dave will join other authors and illustrators who will sign books throughout the day at this festive children's book event.
